Carol Blackmore has been weaving and selling handwoven rugs in her studio for thirty years. Working with market shoppers, she designs custom rugs ranging in size from 20" x 30" to 8' x 10'. Carol's rugs are traditional "rag rugs" that create the appearance of transparent layers of color in order to achieve a sense of depth. Carol is specifically interested in the different emotional resonances that color combinations create. 

Production Practices - All rugs are woven with recycled clothing on a very large sturdy loom with gears that are bigger than average in order to achieve a tight structure.
