The 2025 Main Season is Almost Here!

We’re coming on to another great season at the market, and we can’t believe how far we’ve come since we first started in 1979. Last year, we celebrated our 45th anniversary, and
Mayor Barbara Foushee proclaimed the first week of April to be Carrboro Farmers’ Market Week in Carrboro to celebrate the start of the Main Season.

The first day of the Wednesday Market (3 to 6 pm) is Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 and the first Main Season Saturday (7 am to noon) Market is Saturday, April 5th, 2025. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We’re also debuting our 2025 t-shirts on the first Saturday of the main season, designed by the Splinter Group in Carrboro and printed on 100% cotton tees from TS Designs in Burlington. Keep an eye out for the t-shirt reveal next week on our socials!

NEW VENDORS

CFM is thrilled to have new vendors join us this season! Learn more about them below.

FLOWER OF CAROLINA

Flower of Carolina is a native plant nursery and meadery in Saxapahaw, NC. They use honey from their hives and ferment it with local fruits, fruit juices, or other ingredients to produce both natural meads and honey sodas. They also cultivate hundreds of native plants from wildflowers and shrubs to grasses and trees. You can find them regularly at our Saturday Market.

ROSE PRODUCE

Rose Produce first joined CFM as a guest vendor last Spring, but now you can see them every first and third Saturday for the rest of the year. They’ll be bringing fresh herbs and veggies, tinctures, and more.

BRIGHT & EARLY VEGAN BAKERY (GUEST)

Bright & Early Vegan Bakery bakes vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free pastries that will get you out of bed on an early Saturday market morning. You can find croissants, macarons, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, and more sweet treats. Stay tuned for their upcoming Market days.
